Serendipity! A day trip to Los Banos and we probably picked the best place in town to have lunch. Full of locals and memorabilia. And the food was great...and a lot of it!

This is what I like about small towns. Family run Main st diners .I always try to avoid chain restaurants.Stayed at a mom and pop motel a few blocks away and opted to stroll the main drag to get a feel for the town- not the standard homogenous chains on the highway.6th st. Diner did not disappoint. Cozy little place. When she asked if I wanted 1 or 2, I naturally said 2. At most places, the pieces are about 1/3 the size of mine here. Not only that, but they don't place them on a cold plate like so many others do. Hot and crispy coating and succulent inside. All this- tax and hot chocolate included- for just $20.10.Yassuh!
They have real corned beef hash it was delicious. The service was great. My wife had a monstrous ham and eggs thing was big enough for 3 people. Everything was great!
First came here three years ago and remember really liking the place. Was finally passing through the area again and recently came back hoping things were as good as I remember, and they were. Glad to see portions are still generous and that prices are still fair. I can’t say as to how this place compares to others in the area, but from where I’m from for what you get here is worth more than what you pay. I wish I could take the prices they have for the food here back home with me, and I’d be exclusively dining here!
This place has AMAZING food! It's not too pricey for pretty large servings. I got the Phillychanga which came with fries.
The food is excellent, service was superb, and prices you can't get in a large city.
Located in downtown Los Baños, this diner has a nice old Western vibe to it. The fruit cup was fresh and delicious, the pancake was made right , the orange juice poured from not contraté , and the eggs were perfectly made to order.Took off a star because it was good not excellent. The place was good but could use some TLC, the service was decent a bit flat but respectful, and if you watch all my breakfast reviews, I always order a French toast as baseline and their French toast was dry.
If you are in Los Baños, you must come here. The delicious offer they have is unique, excellent vibe and unbeatable prices. The perfect combo.
Big portions! Kind staff. My son and I each got the huge chicken bacon sandwich. I got sweet potato fries and he had regular. We could only eat half in one sitting! Good prices too.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5Recommended dishesChicken Sandwich, Salad with Bleu Cheese Dressing
